Dr. Ilona Holland is an educator and children’s book author. She loves inspiring curiosity by bringing history and science to life. While teaching at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, she specialized in informal learning. She conducted numerous evaluations for PBS children’s programs like Martha Speaks, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, WordGirl, and Wild Kratt’s. Since retiring, she spends most of her time writing for children and visiting schools all over the world. She has published four books that include time travel, historical fiction, and a non-fiction STEM book on George Washington as a scientific thinker and early adopter of technology.
